Ajay Rajadhyaksha

Global Chairman of Research

Ajay Rajadhyaksha is Global Chairman of Research at Barclays, based in New York. He drives the global macro research and strategy effort, including economics, rates, FX, commodities, emerging markets, and asset allocation. Since joining Barclays in 2005, Ajay has held various positions, including Head of Macro Research, Co-Head of FICC Research and, before that, Head of US Fixed Income Research and US and European Securitised Research.

Zornitsa Todorova

Zornitsa Todorova

Head of Thematic FICC Research

Zornitsa Todorova leads the Thematic FICC Research team at Barclays, based in London. She is a Director, and covers topics such as market structure, financial market innovation, and emerging macroeconomic trends. Zornitsa and her team employ quantitative, academic-style methods to analyse the global impact of these themes across credit, rates, and macro products. Before joining Barclays in 2019, she taught risk management and investments at Bocconi University and the Berlin School of Business and Innovation. Her research has been featured in peer-reviewed journals such as The Journal of Financial Markets, Institutions and Instruments, The Journal of Corporate Ownership and Control, and The Review of Finance and Banking. Zornitsa holds a PhD with honors in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University in Italy.

Christian Keller

Christian Keller

Head of Economics Research

Christian Keller is a Managing Director and Head of Economics Research at Barclays, leading a global team covering both Developed and Emerging Markets. Mr. Keller is based in London and joined Barclays in 2007 from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) where he had worked since 1999. Based at the IMF headquarters in Washington D.C., Mr. Keller worked on IMF programs with Emerging Market economies in Europe, Latin America and Asia, and served as the IMF’s Resident Representative in Turkey from 2005-7. Mr. Keller graduated with a PhD in Economics from University of Köln, Germany, and holds a joined-MA in Economics and Finance from University of Köln and HEC, Paris.

Will Thompson

Will Thompson

Thematic Investing Analyst

Will Thompson is a Director on the Thematic Investing Research team and focuses on the energy and industrial sectors. Will joined Barclays Equity Research in 2014 and was most recently a senior analyst covering Small and Medium Cap Oil & Gas Exploration & Production (E&P) companies. Prior to that, he was part of the Oilfield Services & Equipment research team, where he ranked as an Institutional Investor Rising Star in 2017. Will previously worked in equity research in various other investment banks, covering Oilfield Services & Equipment and Airfreight, Surface, and Marine Transportation. He also spent time as a Senior Research Associate at an investment firm. Will has a Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Colby College.
